Mulligans Food and Spirits
About This Spot
Stepping into Mulligans Food and Spirits feels like slipping into a familiar gathering spot where the rhythm of a lively neighborhood bar meets the comfort of an American eatery. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, filled with the easy hum of friendly conversations and the occasional burst of laughter—a place where time slows just enough for genuine moments to unfold.
The pace here is unhurried but upbeat, guided by spirited bartenders who not only pour generous drinks but also a welcoming dose of humor and connection. It’s the kind of spot where you might find yourself chatting with neighbors, sharing stories over classic drafts, or savoring a well-loved cheeseburger and fries that feels like an honest slice of home. The familiar comfort of tater tots and the touch of a Jack Daniels cocktail round out a menu that appeals to both the casual diner and the bar enthusiast alike.
Behind the bar, there’s a rhythm that keeps the space buzzing—a blend of charm and good-natured chaos that invites both regulars and newcomers to stay a while. The space feels lived-in but well cared for, with a clean and approachable vibe even in the details like the washrooms, reflecting an attentive pride in hospitality. While the atmosphere can carry a hint of traditional bar culture with allowed smoking, it somehow weaves into the overall fabric without overshadowing the welcoming spirit at its core.
Mulligans thrives as a genuine local staple—a place where friendliness isn’t just a policy but a pulse. Whether it’s a weekday evening unwind or a weekend catch-up, Mulligans offers a space where stories are exchanged, laughter is shared, and the simple joy of good food and spirited conversation feels comfortably within reach.

"Rob the Bartender: A Recipe for Laughter!" If you’re looking for a place with a lively atmosphere and a bartender who can double as your new best friend, let me introduce you to Rob, the newest face behind the bar. On his very first day, he knocked it out of the park – a perfect blend of humor, charm, and a splash of chaos. From the moment I walked in, Rob had me rolling with laughter. Seriously, what is it about that guy that just makes everything feel like a party? Now, here’s where it gets interesting – Rob goes by the nickname “90/10.” I was baffled at first, trying to figure out what the heck that could mean! Is it a reference to his pouring technique? Or perhaps his ratio of hilarious stories to serious bartending? I’d say it’s more of a 50/50 split of laughter to serious libations! In any case, I think he may have earned a new nickname by the end of the night, “Rob the Hilarious.” While he might still be figuring out the fine art of cocktail-making, his potential is evident, and he’s got a personality that can carry a bar on its own. If you’re looking for a good drink and an even better time, make sure to visit Rob – just be prepared for some hearty laughs and unpredictable drink choices! Here’s to many more days with the incredible Rob behind the bar!

Love the food! The server could have been more attentive, thought they forgot I was there at one point.

This is my go-to spot in Marietta! Normally I stick with the cheeseburger (a solid classic here), but this time I wanted something on the healthier side. I spoke with the owner, Kelly, and she recommended the chicken salad — and I’m glad I listened. It was fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot in a way I didn’t expect. Kelly is great — friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly cares about making sure people enjoy their meals. That kind of personal touch is why I keep coming back. I’ve posted a picture of my chicken salad so you can see why I’ll be ordering it again. Between the food and the people, I can’t recommend Mulligan enough.

Mully’s…. Oh what can I say. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out! It’s been my favorite dive bar for many years. It’s an awesome group of peeps, top notch bartenders and owner “Kelly” and hubby Rob always make you feel like family! Perfect place to meet up with friends, hang out and chill. For Bikers, Bike night (Wednesday 6PM) always has live music and a great friendly crowd! They do charity rides and other bike events throughout the year. With that said, you don’t have to be a biker to enjoy this place, everyone is always welcome! It’s also a popular “day bar” with great lunch and drink specials
